Have upgrade to 6.9 and changed my docker from image to directory. Created a new cache only share called Docker, recreated all the dockers, everything working fine.

 

Mover is trying to move the files in the docker directory even though it's cache only and filling up my log with each file and no medium found. What is going on?

 

I only have a single cache pool, called cache.

I'm also having problems with mover since upgrade.

I also notice you are running the ca mover tuning app, wondering what your config is in there?

 

My problem is a bit different, but basically my mover is moving the cache preferred shares to the array, have not yet tried uninstalling mover and boot cycling because I can't do the downtime at the moment. Maybe next step for both of us though?

 

okay I deleted the CA Mover Tuning Plugin and my problems went away.

Recommend giving it a try.
