6.9 Plex no video playback

Featured Replies

I am new to unraid and recently set it up and am trying to get Plex functioning on it.  I have the docker up and running (linuxserver version but I have tried several) and have added media for testing.  The plex server seems to be running fine but whenever I try to test the videos they either dont play or play for a second or two and just permanently hang on buffering.  Any help would be greatly appreciated and I will provide whatever logs/info I can.  Thanks

Are you sure the media can be played by plex?

Yes, they are supported formats.  And actually, just testing playing the file directly off of the share onto my desktop through vlc is showing the same issues with the video playing then hanging.  So I guess I'm ruling out plex and something is holding up the network traffic or disk read

Just tested Network speed, the unraid box is getting 500Mbps up/down.

All HDDs performing similarly to this one.
