I was in the process of rebuilding my server when my main computer died on me. I found myself building two separate computers wondering if I would be better off building a single power house machine and virtualizing my environments.

 

The main thing I need on my server build is CPU power.

-          Debating between x99 2x Xeon 2690’s or an AMD Ryzen 9 3900XT

 

For my main computer, I would just need normal work email tools and I do some light gaming. I would probably migrate my existing video card.
