Fatal Flash Drive Error

So when I click on "Apps" I get this massage pop up:

On the dashboard, the flash drive looks utilized:

but when I click on it to view, it appears empty:

I'm scared to turn off my machine to look at the flash drive. What should I do first?

    The drive odds on disconnected.  What you're seeing on the dashboard isn't correct, but trying to navigate is more or less correct in the context of what happened.  A reboot is necessary.  If it continues to happen, try a different port.
