centos not bootable after upgrading to Unraid 6.9.1

Featured Replies

Everything is fine when I upgraded unraid os from 6.8.3 to 6.9.1. But one of my vm(centos 7, 3.10.0-957.27.2.el7.x86_64) isn't working any more. It's bootable, means I can see the kernel core selection splash screen, after that, the cursor stops in a black screen then no more movements. So far, I have to rollback to 6.8.3 so the centos vm is working again

update centos version

I have the same issue, with CentOS7 3.10.0-1160.11.1.el.x86_64.

I had a similar issue with a test Mint VM I setup, It was ok with QXL as a screen, but didn't work with a GPU passed thru.

I put nomodeset in Grub bootloader for the Mint machine, not saying this is the answer but may be worth a try.

Thanks, in then end, I've just migrated the machine to a proxmox server I had. I'll move the machine back some day, and let you know if this works as a fix.
