your content gets stolen

Recommended Posts

Hey, so i just want to let you guys know that your content is beeing stolen and indexed under another URL which also ranks pretty good.

youradsor.appspot.com

youradsor.appspot.com/u?purl=L3Rlbi5kaWFybnUvLzpzcHR0aA%3D%3D%0A

https://www.google.com/search?q=emhttpd%3A+read+smart+%2Fdev%2Fsdj&oq=&aqs=chrome.1.35i39i362l8...8.23050j0j7&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8

I dont know if you want that, seems to be a web based proxy, but theres only one reason to let google index it... make money of off your / our content...

maybe you can block it via robots or htaccess rules.

I'm assuming @SpencerJ and @jonp are already on the case?

Hmm, is this really an issue or more of a feature!  Now you have two ways to read our great content:  without live nude ads or WITH LIVE NUDE ADS!  The choice is yours!  But choose wisely....

just a suggestion: why are you guys not using cloudflare? its free and has some standard blocking / anti hacking / anti ddos. All my "content stolen" problems gone away with it.

It serves faster (CDN), saves data and i could add it to every site without problems. Only downside is SSL in conjunction with letsencrypt is a nightmare, but its one time.

Theoreticly you only need to change DNS and youre done if everything works. With one click you can "pause" cloudflare if anything breaks. They even offer support for free users (atleast they helped me in the beginning)
