Any particular reason for the flash backup to demand 1 GB of free space? That's a no go since I run my server on a 1 GB Nanodura USB stick (made for purpose of running things like Unraid or ESXi) and I Only got 400 MB free there...

Yes, this solution creates a local git repository on the flash and we don't want to inadvertently fill up your flash drive. If you have a 1GB flash drive then this is not a good backup solution for you.

Hey everyone, we've released an updated My Servers plugin. It has a lot of improvements to make flash backup more resilient along with some nice enhancements to the UPC where it communicates with the server via a websocket rather than by polling. More detailed release notes are available when you click the "i" icon on the plugins page.

The latest version this afternoon also fixes the "my_servers doesn't have permission" error that was reported (thanks for reporting that, BTW!)

We are still seeing servers disconnecting and reconnecting more than we'd like. We're working on it.

read SMART when i spindown disk.

I solved the problem by unraid-api stop.

spindown disk works no issue.

Yes, please check and correct. Thank you.

Sorry I'm not good at English.

is there anyways to automatically update unraidnet?

every time I find it not working, and I go to the setting, and I see there is an update. once I update the plugin it works fine...

I have auto update turned on, but it seems like it's not picking it up, or update is being released after auto update checks for a daily update.

Auto update works for me.  (Assuming that autoupdate itself is up to date)

hmm wonder what it is then, everytime I see it not working, it's saying there's a new version of it available. next time I will check how long ago the update became available

So I just updated to the newest Plugin and all my drives spin up? Whats up with that?

Ok weird now my drives keep spinning up for no reason. Nobody is even at my house. My drives have been sleeping for hours. I don't want to blame this plugin, but something is going on all of the sudden after I've installed this Update.

Ahhhh, Thanks..

Here I am shutting down all my dockers so I can do some testing. Lol

Thanks for the heads up.

Can we get a roll back to stop that? I shut off auto Flash backup and used a script to turn it on and off daily, but I can't live with my drives spinning up and down all day for no reason at all. My OCD will drive me crazy. ;)

I suppose I could temporarily uninstall the plugin and re-install it later when its updated.

I had been having my array drives spin up when I logged in and the Main tab loaded for the last few days.  Signing out of the plugin, then uninstalling it for the time being worked.

Hmmm, another odd thing.

My drives was all spun down until I hit refresh on the Main page then I heard all my drives spin up.

Uninstalled plugin and now my drives are not starting up from the refresh and are not spinning up on their own all of the sudden.

We think we've found the issue, currently working on a fix.

I knew you guys would figure it out. ;)

I figured a little *poke*poke*poke* would help.

Removed plugin and now my drives are sleeping and refresh isn't spinning them back up. So its very related and thank you for reaching out to me. Well all of us. ;)

Just a small side effect of temporarily removing the plugin.

I noticed that I kept getting the log entry:

flash_backup: adding task: /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix.my.servers/scripts/UpdateFlashBackup.php update

while the plugin was uninstalled every minute.  I had to make sure the flash backup was deactivated prior to uninstalling.

@kizer I've deployed a hot fix.

It does not require a plugin update 👍

Thanks for bringing to our attention.

I uninstalled, but I’ll reinstall soon. No problem on the letting you know. Problems arise and we are all in this together in the end. ;)

Re-installed and no drive spin ups anymore. Success!!!!!

Great job everybody. I did have a little glitch where I re-installed and it seemed to take forever for MyServers on unraid to turn green. Could literally be anything I'm sure, but I was worried I messed something up. After making a cup of coffee and returning it was sitting there green. ;)

I do wish I had of waited for your patch to see if it would of fixed its self like intended, but I'm often impatient.

I test Re-installed MyServers it can fix the drive spin up issue as well. 👍

Previously I used the unraid-api stop method. 😁
