Can't re-upgrade to 6.9.1

Featured Replies

While trying to isolate a networking issue, I downgraded from 6.9.1 to 6.8.3. Turns out that it's a firewall problem, not an Unraid problem. So I'd like to RE-upgrade to 6.9.1. But when I go into Tools -> Update OS, the only version I see now is 6.8.3.

6.9.1 is no longer offered. 😞 Sad!

How can I get the Update OS tool to offer me 6.9.1 again?

Thank you!

Scott

Strange.  I know @ljm42 was helping some one out with a similar issue a day or so ago.  I'm assuming that you've hit Check For Updates?

You can always download the zip file here https://unraid.net/download and over write all of the bz* files on the flash drive with the ones in the zip and then reboot.

Thank you. Maybe I'll just do a manual download. I don't have a "Check for Updates" button, either!

Then before you do the manual method, try going into Settings - Notification Settings and disable (temporarily) the automatic checking for OS  updates.  Then hit Update OS and Check For Updates.  Does the update appear now?

I disabled checking for OS updates, and the "Check for Updates" button re-appeared! But when I click on it, the popup comes up and says "plugin: checking unRAIDServer.plg ..." then I click on "Done," and it still only shows 6.8.3 available. 6.9.1 did not re-appear. Thanks for the suggestion! I thought it was going to work. 🙂

Please open a terminal window and type:

wget -qO- https://s3.amazonaws.com/dnld.lime-technology.com/stable/unRAIDServer.plg | grep "ENTITY version"

It should respond with this:

<!ENTITY version   "6.9.1">

But I'm thinking you are seeing something different?
