Brand new to Unraid and it looks to be what I have been searching for.

I have some questions about a system I want to build and don't know where to post them.

IE new vs repurpose etc.

Unraid works with a lot of different hardware. The simplest approach is for you to suggest what you might use and for us to tell you if we know of any problems with that.

 

Also, many people put their hardware specs in their signature, but unfortunately your Account Settings default to not showing any sigs. Click on the dropdown next to your user name at upper right and you can change this.
