Copying directly to Cache drive of Unraid running as a Guest OS in VMWare

Hello Guys,

 

I'm running Unraid as a Guest OS on my main Windows machine. The only problem I have noticed so far is that when copying data on to it, windows sends it over the normal network instead of directly in my cache drive, also when sending data my onboard NIC gets overwhelmed after a few minutes "throttles" my normal internet speed to a point where I lose the connection to online services.

 

Now my question is: Is there a way of copying directly into the cache in my vm or to bypass the NIC in some other way?
