Settings/Plugins/Tools Search Bar

Featured Replies

I've often found my self knowing the name of location i want to go,  such as "Open Files", or "App Cleanup" but end up hunting around for the actual location of it. If we had a search bar this would make things much more efficient to move around the system.

@Squid @tcburn just checking if this happens to you on Chrome or if it's just me. Only when under the Main tab only (others are fine) - the search bar thinks it's a form and auto fills. Testing Safari and Edge also, both seem to be ok.

Actually, does this only happen on the Main Tab, and do you have any encrypted drives?

@Squid Yes just the Main tab. Drives are not encrypted.

Not that I can see and cmd+F search doesn't find anything.

I installed the plugin, but it doesn't show me the search bar. Does anyone have an idea why it is like that?

This is an old thread so the UI has changed a bit. You can now press the search button in the toolbar, or press CTRL-K

I know the search button, but for the ease of use i would prefer a fixed bar 😅

The webgui needs to work on a variety of screen sizes and the search bar takes up a significant amount of space. There are no additional mouse clicks with this method, you click once on the icon and then start typing. Or you can keep your hands off the mouse entirely and press CMD/CTRL-K. I don't see this changing back.

Damn, but thanks for the answer 😃
