santiman717
Unraid Version: 6.9.1 Trying to create a CentOS 7 VM on a new unraid installation. I get this error. "unsupported configuration: Emulator '/usr/local/sbin/qemu' does not support virt type 'kvm' " Any Idea how to remedy this? I have another machine running Unraid 6.8.3 and I don't have this issue. Thanks in advance! Edited March 17, 2021 by santiman717 Quote Link to comment

I had updated my B450 MB Bios and it reverted the "SVM" option under advanced CPU options to "disabled." Once I changed this to "enabled" I am now back to being able to spin up VMs. 1 2 Quote Link to comment

I hope this works for me! I'm on a B450 also, but I'm geographically separated, so I will get to try it this weekend. Quote Link to comment

57thStIncident
Same problem, after BIOS update; MSI x570 unify. Able to fix by re-enabling SVM in BIOS CPU settings. Quote Link to comment
