February 16, 201115 yr Hello, New user here. Installation and setup was easy and smooth(server info in sig) the biggest issue I am having is with midnight commander to copy the files from my d-link 321 nas over to the unraid server. Every 3rd or 4th movie files, irregardless of size( some are my blu-ray rips and some are even old vhs rips) mc hangs at 100%, while space used increases(using df -h command). Until I select skip and the space used goes down and the next file starts copying. Is mc the best program to be using for copying files from a remote computer? my nas box and media player are all on gig network and my computers are all wireless

Is mc the best program to be using for copying files from a remote computer? my nas box and media player are all on gig network and my computers are all wireless Markb, I also had some issues while using MC. I just copied 14 2TB external drives to my headless unRAID server. I found it to be much better if all servers and workstation was wired on a gigabit LAN. My workstation is a mac so when MC would hang up I would just copy the rest of the files over the LAN. It was a little slower but more consistent. MC would give me 30mbps at times and then drop down to 5mbps. It would go back and forth for hours. While copying over the LAN was at a more steady pace and would be done by time I got home from work. So I used bothe methods, I thought I was going to go crazy lol..
