Docker Pull will not work unless MTU set to 900

Recommended Posts

Hi All,

I have encountered a very strange issue that im struggling with.
For some reason I cant pull any images from docker unless my Eth/bond MTU is set to 900. (down from 1500).
My network and DNS all work as expected, also tested from the Unraid cli.

Will running 900 MTU cause me any performance issues? I am surprised that it has any effect on pulling images from docker?!

Any help or advice would be appreciated.

After some further tests, i found that anything < 1400 works.... although everything else in my network sits at 1500. MTU is set at default of 1500 everywhere including interfaces, and dhcp server
