Looking for a Sata pci-e card but I'm confused

my Motherboard is pci-e x16 4.0

 

I'm running  stablebit drivepool

 

I'm noticing "any one"of my 8 installed hard drives randomly disconnects every few days.

 

I have decided I would like to buy a 8 port sata pci-e card to take the task off my motherboard.

 

Can a PCie card run as fast as my motherboard?

Can I use a PCie Sata card and my motherboards sata ports at the same time? Or must I disable motherboards sata?

 

Is this card ideal for my needs?
