New IP address for unMenu?

Featured Replies

I just got a new router - I'm guessing it gave me all new IP addresses.  IPOMI found the new IP address on it own.  How would I find the IP address for unMenu so I can go to the web page?

Thanks..

If your in via IPMI then you can type:

ifconfig

and get the ip information.

from there just add :8080 to the end of the IP address and you should be able to connect to unMenu.

I get the inet addr: 192.168.2.11  which was the static ip address put in unMenu - I think.  I can not connect with this one.  I get the connection failed error.  The new ip address for IPMI is 192.168.0.6  How would I find the new one for unRAID?

OK, that is probably because I/we set a static IP address when I get the computer up.  You will have to edit the network config file in the config folder to set it to an IP that is 192.168.0.11 (the 11 part can be any number really, just pic one that is up there so it is not currently in use).

OK - I'm game.  So where the heck is the config folder found?  Is it on the flash drive?

Yes.

Probably easiest to shut the server down and pull the flash drive.  If you do not want to do it that way then you can use mc (midnight commander to edit the file.
