February 19, 201115 yr HI, just trying to get NFS working to my openelec XBMC to see if it makes any changes ... SMB is working fine but just wanted to test this so i set to shares to export on NFS New.TV Animated so on the server root@p5bplus:~# showmount -e Export list for p5bplus: /mnt/user/TV.New * /mnt/user/Animated * it is confirmed it is read for export but when i try to mount 192.168.1.130:/Animated /storage/mount/Animated then i get this error Feb 19 11:23:58 p5bplus mountd[10879]: refused mount request from 192.168.1.4 for /Animated (/): not exported Feb 19 11:23:58 p5bplus kernel: svc: 192.168.1.4, port=964: unknown version (4 for prog 100003, nfsd) (System) i tried a lot of things that i looked up in google but no matter what i try i can't get it to mount now i looked up this error in google too and it seems to be a bug ? http://www.google.co.th/search?q=unknown+version+%284+for+prog+100003%2C+nfsd%29&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a can somebody confirm this ? i tried to get the version of the openelec nfs client but can't seem to get the version number command for that ... so basicly i am looking for some help here to get nfs working and or to let limetech know there is bug ....
February 19, 201115 yr Author Nevermind ... I am a MORON but for those like me who spend hours trying to get this to work YOU NEED TO ADD THE FULL PATH OF THE NFS SHARED FOLDER !!! So for example in my case mount 192.168.1.130:/mnt/user/Animated /storage/mount/Animated bah spend like forever on google to figure this out and this tutorial opened my eyes http://openelec.tv/find-help/documentation/faq/item/mounting-network-shares?category_id=25
