Finding HBA card and cable suitable for ST16000NM002G 12Gb/s SAS

Hello everyone. I'm new to Unraid and started to build my own server slowly.

 

Here are the specs:

Motherboard = X9DRH-7F https://www.supermicro.com/products/motherboard/xeon/c600/x9drh-7f.cfm

Harddisk = 16TB x 5 SAS Drives ST16000NM002G https://www.seagate.com/files/www-content/datasheets/pdfs/exos-x16-DS2011-1-1904US-en_US.pdf?pdhname=MAKARA

Ram = 64GB ECC (16gb x 4) 2R X 4 PC3 -14900R-13-13-E2

Cpu = Dual E5-2650 V2 

Chassis = Fractal Design 7 XL https://www.fractal-design.com/introducing-define-7-and-define-7-xl/

CPU = Fractal Ion+ 760W Platinum https://www.fractal-design.com/products/power-supplies/ion/ion-platinum-760w/black/

 

Here's my question. What HBA card and breakout cables should i get for this setup?

Get one of the recommended LSI HBAs, cables mostly depend on if you end up getting a SAS2 (SFF-8087) or SAS3 (SFF-8643) model.

Hi. I Know this post is a bit old, but i'm curious. Did you find a HBA card that works with these Hdd's? I got to of them myself but can't make it work..
