Right now I am doing a parity sync.

First... can do stuff with the server while this is going on?

Second... I followed the tutorial and have unMenu installed but it never boots on startup. I have it told in unmenu to boot on startup

Yes.

You have to edit your go script to enable unmenu.

unMENU itself has no built in command to re-install itself on reboot.  The packages you;ve installed through it do.

As described, you just need to add a line to the end of the config/go file.

You can use the Confi View/Edit built into unMENU

Add a line

/boot/unmenu/uu

to the end of the

/boot/config/go

file.

ah ok thank you... I didn't understand I needed to edit the conf file or how to do it when first setting up unmenu but now I do because I had to do it for sab.

Last night I started the parity sync and this morning I woke up and it said it actually did the parity check too? with 0 errors? I thought I had to manually tell it to after the sync

Its wording is misleading, you still need to perform the Check.
