Just wanted to know if preclear will format it and get rid of all the partitions and everything. Thanks It will erase the existing partitions and any data in them. It will completely re-write the master boot record. To windows, it will appear un-partitioned. To linux it will appear to have a single partition. The partition will be completely empty, it will need to be formatted AFTER the unRAID array is started. (Formatting only takes a few minutes or less)
