February 24, 201115 yr What is the difference between unMenus Disk Management File system check and doing a reiserfsck? The unmenu file-system check is equivalent to reiserfsck --check, it stops samba and un-mounts the disk to make it easier on users not familiar with the command line in Linux. Unfortunately, to perform many types of repair, reiserfsck requires the user to respond with a "Yes" before continuing. For that reason, most repair must occur on the command line and not through unMENU.
