February 24, 201115 yr This is a pretty damn good deal...especially considering that internal 3TB hard drives still go for $189 - $199. http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Western+Digital+-+My+Book+Essential+3TB+External+USB+3.0/2.0+Hard+Drive+-+Black/1261281.p?id=1218244145647&skuId=1261281&ci_src=5784816&ci_sku=1261281&ref=25&loc=PGR WD typically puts green drives in the MyBook series. My 1.5TB had a WD15EADS drive in it. I'm guessing that now they have EARS drives. Once unRAID supports 3TB drives, you can just rip it out of the case and swap it out with your parity drive. Added bonus...it supports USB 3.0. Shipping = $5.99/ John
February 24, 201115 yr Don't forget ~$10 in tax. Newegg has this 3TB external for $170 shipped. Personally, I hate Best Buy. Reviews aren't great though. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822136749

February 24, 201115 yr I work 10 minutes from the Delaware state line. John Good deal I was reading more reviews, and lots of them say their drive was either DOA or died within a few weeks. I hope the 3TB drives in general aren't worse than the 2TB drives.
