kricker
Can anyone tell me what values this line in the s3.sh is referring to with an example? noTCP='0.00' # what constitutes absence of TCP activity As soon as I turn on the checkTCP switch my server will no longer sleep. I assume it is getting some very minor traffic to the NIC from my router, or the IPMI is sending out some minor traffic even when I'm not logged into it. I just want to have some idea of a value I can put in there to ignore such minor traffic. Quote Link to comment
kricker
Bump. Can anyone tell me at all what the noTCP value is looking for? KB? MB? Quote Link to comment
dikkiedirk
For anyone who is interested I re-wrote the fan speed control script as an UnRaid v5 plugin (attached). Make it easier to play with the variables. thanks Quote Link to comment
Evin
Hi! Anyone an idea how to install the 2x120mm-fans instead of one 140mm-fan? Edit: And I have no idea what to do with the sleep- and fanscript. Quote Link to comment
downloadski
You might want to look at this fan: http://www.noctua.at/main.php?show=productview&products_id=54 Still at 120 mm mounting holes, but will conver the 140 mm position fully i think. And it is PWM. Quote Link to comment

rbronco21
This is a great mb and I am going to start playing around with the script or plugin, but I'm wondering if anyone else gets different fan speed from ipmi and from running sensors from a prompt. Quote Link to comment
Njon
I have the same problem. The script works perfectly until I hear the noise produced by fans. Occasionally fans revs at maximum even if pwm is set to 50, while pwm4_input is correctly at 1880 rpm (maximum of my fans). If I try to manually slow them down through the command echo 70 > /sys/class/hwmon/hwmon1/device/pwm4 pwm4 gets modified but the speed remains the same The only thing I can do is to reboot the server... Somebody as an explanation for this? Quote Link to comment
