Hello, all! I'm about to dive into setting up my Unraid server. I have a PC (7700K, 16GB, GTX 1650, storage TDB... ). I'd like to use Unraid for the following:

  • Backups (unsure of specific backup solution)
  • Media server (possibly Emby)
  • Home security cameras (POE motion cameras)
  • Game storage (as a Steam/GOG library)

 

Please help with any app recommendations for the above.

 

I haven't committed to a specific storage configuration yet. I have several HDDs and SSDs laying around. I'm hoping to go all SSD as I feel running games from it will need SSD performance. The motherboard has Gb ethernet but I was hoping to use a 2.5Gb ethernet adapter. Any recommendations for compatible 2.5Gb adapters (needs to be USB since I don't have any spare PCI slots)?
