"Unmountable: No file system" after array rebuild process

Featured Replies

Hi,

I had a server crash and 2 disks appeared as disabled. Fortunately, I have 2 parity disks and started with the first problem.

I followed the procedure to replace the 1st disk and waited the array to be rebuilt. Unfortunately, the process stopped in the middle and I had to restart it from the beginning. Eventually, the rebuild process finished successfully but the disk appeared as unmountable with no file system.

I really don't know what to do.

Could someone help me to understand and solve my problem.

Thanks.

Denis

Handling of unmountable drives is covered here  in the online documentation that can be accessed via the Manual link at the bottom of the unraid GUI.

OK thanks, I recovered the first one but some data was lost for the second one.

Thank you for your help.
