New Router Supports Link Aggregation

Featured Replies

Hi all,

My new router comes next week and it supports link aggregation.

My unraid setup is basic, I only use it for Media Management, Plex, Sonarr, Radar, etc. Its running on my old PC.

Gigabyte Gaming 5 x99 Motherboard with Intel 5820k CPU, etc.

I'd like to add/buy a 2 Port PCE-E ethernet card, to run link aggregation. Would anyone have any recommendations?

Thank you

Don't bother, at least until you research what exactly you can expect, and whether the hassle is worth the possible benefits. I see many posts here where people set up aggregation and don't see any real difference.

Thanks Jonathanm for the reply. I've done the research or what I can expect. I have a few clients connected to the server at once, So hoping if with Benefit multiple streams from the server.

I'm more concerned about a card like this Example Card working in my server.
