Remote Desktop Software

Featured Replies

Can someone recommend a remote desktop software like teamviewer.  I what to set it up in docker if possible.  My mother in PA has constant computer questions  and I use teamviewer to help her out.  Now it looks like teamviewer has a connection limit on there free version.  It only allows 10 minute connections.

I have stayed away from Teamviewer since they lied about their breach a few years back.

AnyDesk is the way to go.  Unless you pay for Pro, you cant set up an address book, but as long as you know the 9-digit address, you can connect.  You can also set up a password for unattended access.

Hey,
i am also searching for a decent remote software to manage my local vms and unraid (ssh) and optional to assist my family (offsite).

I wanted to go for guacamole but then saw there are also other remote tools.
- meshcentral

- remotly

i like the idea to also manage offsite machines with my own remote server.
So as far as i see guacamole and meshcentral are only local remote tools and remotly can also reach external devices?
Does all the traffic go only through my server?
