Screen painting issues after monitors wake up on Win10 VM

Featured Replies

Hi everyone,

I am having a strange issue. I have set up a Win10 VM and everything works. However, after a while, if I wake up the machine, after a period of inactivity and after the monitors have gone into power save mode, the screen will become garbled. It starts off as a few thin white or black horizontal lines but gradually deteriorates with big patches of black rectangles across the screen. Has anybody come across the same issue?

I am using 3x NVDIA 710 graphic cards, with 2 monitors each, so 6 in total. Perhaps that is the issue? I have played around with all four settings of "PCIe ACS override" but all lead the to same result. (My cards are not in the same IMMOU group, but it still works even if disabled).

The power setting on WIN10 are set to never sleep, except for the screens.

Many thanks for any pointers!
