April 28, 20215 yr Hey all, I upgraded my router to the Amplifi Alien and I can't access the web UI through SSL correctly. Redirections to xxxxxx.unraid.net fail with a DNS error. I have made sure my DNS and IP settings are correct in the webui and at the router (I've tried with DNS.watch and Cloudflare). I have also updated the DNS for the certificate using the button in the webUI. I can still access the UI by manually going to https://ip. It's more of an annoyance than anything but help would be appreciated. watchtower-diagnostics-20210428-1738.zip

Every time I just type in the IP manually it redirects to xxxxxx.unraid.net which fails due to DNS issues. Previously it would just take me to the login page.
April 29, 20215 yr You need to disable DNS Rebinding in your new router: https://wiki.unraid.net/My_Servers#A_note_regarding_DNS_Rebinding_Protection Until that happens you can access the webgui at https://ipaddress (note this is https and not http). You will need to ignore any browser warnings about the certificate not matching. If you can't disable DNS Rebinding in the router and want to disable local SSL for the webgui instead, go to Settings -> Management Access and set "Use SSL/TLS" to "no"
April 29, 20215 yr Community Expert There is a series of notes in the ' Help' section (the (?) icon on the right side of the Toolbar) when you are on the Settings >>> Management Access tab about the settings required for several common routers that have DNS rebinding off by default. April 29, 20215 yr Interesting. I got suddenly DNS resolution issues too in Unraid . And I did a firewall upgrade too . However I have restored my FW configuration and even tested with a basic consumer router , no joy in DNS resolution on Unraid (but I do have internet connectivity) . I will keep researching .
