Is there any way to find out if unRAID has recognised all SATA controllers/ports

Featured Replies

I have just built a 20 bay server and installed: 1x Adaptec 1430SA, 1x AOC-SASLP-MV8, 1x Startech 2port (JMicron JMB363).

Following instructions on wiki, I installed the drives (6 initially) on the motherboard. I am only installing 8 2Tb drives fro now. The other 2 are still preclearing.

I checked the syslog and found no errors.

My question is; short of powering down, plugging a drive in every slot (1 at atime) then rebooting to see if the drive was recognised by unraid, is there any way to see if unRAID has recognised all the host adapters and ports and that they are functioning as expected?

Thank you.

The only way to know for sure is to put a drive on the port.
