Grundlage soll das Threadripper Mainboard von Gigabyte WRX80 SU8-IPMI werden: https://www.gigabyte.com/de/Motherboard/WRX80-SU8-IPMI-rev-10#kf Als CPU plane ich das 16 Core Model von AMD AMD Threadripper Pro 3955WX: https://www.amd.com/en/products/cpu/amd-ryzen-threadripper-pro-3955wx In den Specs vom Mainboard finden sich folgende Spezifikationen zu dem RAM: 8 x DDR4 DIMM slots supports 8 channels memory architecture (1 DIMM per channel) Support up to DDR4 3200/2933/2600 MHz Support for ECC RDIMM 3DS memory modules - Wie würdet ihr das Mainboard bestücken, dass ihr 64 GB bekommt aber luft für Erweiterungen habt? - Habe ich das richtig verstanden, dass durch die 8 channels memory architecture mehr RAM Module besser sind?
