So I updated unraid and now I no longer have the AFP protocol.

I see this has been removed in the latest version, but for what reason?

I still have devices that use and need AFP.

I have devices that use AFP too but, as I understand it, it was getting difficult to maintain and even Apple has deprecated it. I would have preferred if it could have been kept, but I can still use NFS and I'm over it now.

On that note, I can't really answer your poll fairly, so I'll look at the results without voting. My honest answer would have to be No, I don't actually need it. If you worded it a little differently (eg. "Do you regret the removal of AFP support?"), then my answer could easily be Yes.

You could always make a feature request.
