Hi I am brand new to unraid and so far have been ok setting everything up. Currently I am having an issue creating a new cache drive/pool. So I was able to create the pool and attach the ssd to it but I can not get the option to format. So it just stays at unsupported/unformatted. I have tried changing the filesystem but still no luck. Hopefully it's an easy fix and something stupid I am missing. I appreciate any help.

What version of UnRAID?... My cache still works from 6.8.3 to 6.9.2, but I wouldn't be surprised if no one tested a new cache without all the "old" safe guards.

 

Edit: You do need to take the array offline to format/add/remove under some circumstances.

Format button in next to start/stop array buttons.
