Web login error

Featured Replies

Hi all. Been getting things like this lately. Had a movie playing on plex last night while in bed & it froze (unraid is my plex sever) so I'm assuming the server crashed when this came up at the web log in.

Warning: session_write_close(): write failed: No space left on device (28) in /usr/local/emhttp/login.php on line 96

Warning: session_write_close(): Failed to write session data (files). Please verify that the current setting of session.save_path is correct (/var/lib/php) in /usr/local/emhttp/login.php on line 96

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /usr/local/emhttp/login.php:96) in /usr/local/emhttp/login.php on line 98

Any ideas what it is & how to prevent it?

My best guess is that your cache settings (regarding transcoding maybe) might be off? Can you login to the UnRAID WebUI? I'm confused because you said there's a "Web Login Error" and then describe what you're seeing after logging into the WebUI? I've had a number of WebUI errors and discovered the actual OS is working perfectly (not your case as Plex clearly crashed/stopped).

My best guess, so far.

I was getting this when attempting to log in thru the web UI, after pressing login.

I have transcoding set in ram, but it appears to have been direct playing, not transcoding. I used this guide to set up transcoding (16gm ram in server)

It's happened a few times recently, will try SSH next time to see if I can get more data.

I'm assuming your screen shot is from Plex (because I don't recognize it from the UnRAID WebUI). You didn't answer if you can get into the UnRAID WebUI. Are you accessing the screenshot above from the UnRAID WebUI or are you accessing it from its ip:port that UnRAID is serving?

SSH won't help me, but it could help people that are a LOT smarter than me.

Server was rebooted by turning the power off & back on. It never occurred to me to try rebooting from SSH.

Screeny is from tatualli (monitoring app for plex) history showing there was no transcoding at the time of the crash.

The error occurred after pressing login on the webUI, before the webUI loads, so I couldn't access the UI.
