Hi all,

 

New to unRAID after deciding to play a little more with VMs and Docker.

 

My SuperMicro board will booth to the GUI, all looks OK but drives not detected.  I have a LSA RAID card installed, two 1TB SSDS in one mirror and two 6TB SATA drives in a second mirror.

 

Diagnostics attached if someone is able to point me in the right direction....

RAID controllers are not recommended for Unraid, though it still should work, but there's a problem initialing your controller:

 

May  2 17:42:48 unraid kernel: megaraid_sas 0000:01:00.0: Failed to transition controller to ready for scsi1.

You can try a different slot if available, or a firmware update, but best solution would be not to use it.

Thanks, I'll see if firmware fixes it otherwise I'll ditch it.
