May 3, 20215 yr Hello Everyone, My server has been crashing periodically, and I was hoping for some help. I've attached my diagnostics zip. ice-metal-diagnostics-20210503-1211.zip
May 3, 20215 yr @trurl It seems I've been running into this issue for the past few months after upgrading to a motherboard with more PCI-e lanes... The funny thing is the old motherboard would run fine for months on end (Asrock X570 Pro4), whilst the newer one (Asrock X570 Phantom Gaming X) hangs around every 9 days... With everything identical, save for the motherboard. I'll give the C-States a look tomorrow after work.
May 4, 20215 yr Author Thank you for your quick reply!! I can't seem to find anything within this MOBO/CPU combo where I can change c-state settings. I don't know that it's something that the 3970X has as a feature.
May 4, 20215 yr Community Expert In the board BIOS there should be a "idle power supply control" setting.
May 4, 20215 yr Author Couldn't find that, but I did find global C-State control and I disabled it. Server is running, fingers crossed!
May 4, 20215 yr It's most likely under "advanced -> AMD CBS -> CPU Common Options", on the same page as global C-State Control. (at least it was for me)
May 12, 20215 yr Author These measures worked until yesterday then this happened. Before anyone says it, I know it's too cropped, by the time I'd realized that I had already bounced it.
May 12, 20215 yr Community Expert That looks more like it's related to the below, see if it applies to you: https://forums.unraid.net/topic/70529-650-call-traces-when-assigning-ip-address-to-docker-containers/ See also here: https://forums.unraid.net/bug-reports/stable-releases/690691-kernel-panic-due-to-netfilter-nf_nat_setup_info-docker-static-ip-macvlan-r1356/
