Replacing old Marvell 9215 with LSI SAS9211-8I

As the title says, I'm replacing an older Marvell 9215 SATA card and I'm considering using an LSI SAS9211-8I. Aside the lack of TRIM support on certain SSDs are there any other negatives or downsides I should be on the look out for?
