Unraid becomes unresponsive

Featured Replies

I have been running Unraid 6.9.2 on new hardware using the Asrock Rack C3758D4I-4L and have been having intermittent Kernal panic issues. I am running ECC ram and have swapped it out for another set and I am still having issues. The latest Log was not a Kernel Panic but instead was:

kernel: BUG: kernel NULL pointer dereference, address: 0000000000000000

kernel: #PF: supervisor read access in kernel mode

kernel: #PF: error_code(0x0000) - not-present page

kernel: PGD 486544067 P4D 486544067 PUD 1895a0067 PMD 0

kernel: Oops: 0000 [#1] SMP NOPTI

Unraid seems to be up for around 3 days before it finally crashs and becomes unresponsive. Using IPMI I am able reset it and it starts working fine again.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

Enable this and post that log after a crash, together with the complete diagnostics.

There are various Nvidia and CPU related issues, looks more like a hardware problem, or current kernel doesn't Ike your hardware.

I was afraid of that. This problem was occurring before I installed the Nvidia card and since I have replaced the ram already, I believe it must be motherboard related.

Thanks for your confirmation.
