I need help setting up email notifications w hotmail

I can not get it to work.  When I hit "Test" button, it fails, and i have tried many things.  I am not sure about some of the items, like:

  • can I use my email for both sending and receiving
  • if hotmail uses login or not
  • the two TLS items
  • the two certification items

    I don't think you can do this (properly) without owning your own domain. I could be wrong.

    My bad... For basic email setup there's not enough information. Do you want live.com or hotmail.com?

    1. Tap the lock icon next to the address bar.
    2. Tap Permissions → Notifications.
    3. Adjust your preference.
    Chrome (Desktop)
    1. Click the padlock icon in the address bar.
