Separate Cache drives?

Would running 2x2TB SSDs with drive 1 ingesting large amounts of data, then swapping to the second SSD while mover is running on the first drive be more efficient than 1x4TB drive ingesting twice the data but with a long downtime for the 4TB drive to run mover. Swapping back and forth. I do know it is recommended to turn off cache if you plan on sending lots of data to the server, but I have a 10GB connection between my main PC and the server and I'm using all of that bandwidth by ripping blurays direct from pc to server, downloading huge amounts of data from pc directly to the server and even have media streaming from server to pc.
