1812 Posted May 17, 2021 Share Posted May 17, 2021 I have an h240 in one of my servers. using the trim command via terminal yields root@KevinBacon:~# fstrim -v /mnt/cache /mnt/cache: 74.4 GiB (79853207552 bytes) trimmed and something similar on my other pool So I guess that means yes. JorgeB Posted May 17, 2021 Share Posted May 17, 2021 LSI controllers only trim SSDs with deterministic read after trim, and with recent firmwares SAS2 models can't trim any devices with Linux, SAS3 can (on the supported models). Quote Link to comment
