Server Shutting Down Unexpectedly

Featured Replies

I am on 6.5.3 and Unraid has run smoothly for along time with 0 down time. In the last couple of months I have a bunch of cases where I go to access the server and it isn't running, powered off. I start it back up and the GUI comes up with the array "Stopped. Unclean shutdown detected." So I start the array back up and all is fine until it looses power again. I thought the problem was my UPS acting up or triggering a shut down so I completely removed it from the UPS and the problem still exists. Of course after the shut down the log starts over so that doesn't seem to show me anything. Is their a way to diagnose this? I don't know it is Unraid or something physical with the server.

Enable this then post that log after a crash together with the complete diagnostics.

I will have to upgrade to a newer version is looks like to do that. Hate to mess with updating when it is unstable, but if that's what it takes I will have to do it.

I missed this part earlier, this suggests a hardware problem, log unlike to catch anything, start by checking fans/temps and/or PSU.
