opentoe
I have no idea why I keep buying cables.... Quote Link to comment
queeg
If they were all piled together then that wouldn't be OCD...but since they are all in individual piles by type and color (but not banded together) it's manageable OCD. I did notice the two black ones on the wrong side of the red ones right away. Have they been taken prisoner? Quote Link to comment
Superorb
I just trashed a big chunk of older cables and PC parts that I'll never use again. I have OCD too, and that pic makes me happy Quote Link to comment
kizer
That reminds me I started with all Black then bought an expansion card that uses Red. So Now I have to buy Red to replace my Black. LOL However if I leave my Blacks alone then I know for sure not to ever touch them as I add new drives to my card. Hmmmmm Quote Link to comment
Rajahal
Since when is being organized considered OCD? SATA cables are sorted by length. Almost no organization going on here. Screws are sorted by type and length. If anyone needs any IDE cables or noisy 80mm fans, I have them in abundance. Free to you, just pay shipping. Quote Link to comment
jeff.lebowski
This brings up a question: What's a good source for hard drive screws? OEM drives are, well, OEM. Quote Link to comment
Rajahal
I've gotten so many with all the motherboards, cases, etc. that I've bought over the years that I've never had to buy any screws, so I can't really tell you. I would just try a local shop first, as shipping is likely to be too expensive online. Quote Link to comment

I tend to prefer the hex head screws for some reason. They seem to stay in the screwdriver's tip more easily. Quote Link to comment
kizer
I have some of the same exact tubs. Of course I can't to this day remember where I got them and I'd like to get some more for a closet project I'm working on. Yes by the way the closet would be my Computer room where I'm trying to clean up and organize. Quote Link to comment
neilt0
Do you sleep in a larger version of the plastic box to keep yourself organized? Quote Link to comment
lewcass
I have no idea why I keep buying cables.... In combination with those carpet protectors under all your furniture legs... Maybe not a "disorder" but probably somewhere on the OC spectrum. Quote Link to comment
lewcass
Since when is being organized considered OCD? Some obsessive/compulsiveness can be a very helpful thing. Only a disorder when it interferes with your life. Like when you spend time sorting your cables instead of... well, healthier things. Quote Link to comment
Joe L.
I think you should alphabetize the cables, by height. Quote Link to comment
aRe-eYe-pEa
I was going to take a picture of my anti-OCD cables but, I couldn't find my camera. Quote Link to comment
