[SOLVED] VM not opening (failed to open stream)

Featured Replies

Hi all,

First post here. I'm very new to UNRAID and have just recently encountered a problem that's been preventing me from running my VM and am wondering if anyone could help out.   Whenever I attempt to start my Win10 VM, I get the following message:

Warning: parse_ini_file(/boot/config/domain.cfg): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix.vm.manager/include/libvirt_helpers.php on line 478

When that happens, my Unraid OS status on the top right corner also suddenly shows a red message saying that there's a flash disk error. Once I reboot, everything seems to be working as usual without the message.... that is until I try to run the VM once again.

I believe this started happening after I accidentally physically removed a USB flash drive (not the OS flash drive) from my machine while currently in passthrough.

Thanks in advance and any help is appreciated!

Hi, unfortunately I couldn't find the exact problem so I just created a new VM and it worked right after
