[SUPPORT] TheJF - Antennas

I'm looking at getting a raspberry pi back out of storage and setting TVheadend up on it one way or another with some Xbox usb tuners I got ages ago. I would go direct into the server but I can't get the aerial near.

Am I right in thinking this should work

Pi with tuners - 192.168.1.*

Unraid running Plex - 192.168.2.3

Unraid running antenna -192.168.2.3

Sorry my mistake, you are right, the filename has to be "config.yml" not "config.yaml". I have edited the template and the post

  • Did you read the instructions?

  • You just need to copy the "URL for Antennas" link into plex manual config and then click connect:

It should but you should open the communication between the 2 networks.

Had a play yesterday with this I put the IP ranges down wrong orginally they are all on the same subnet 192.168.1.* had an issue with the streaming user and antennas so it's using the default TVheadend user account at the moment till I can work out what I did wrong. but it's working perfect otherwise, all the clients can play from the Freeview list it's created. Just need to get myself an antenna booster/splitter so I can use my other three Xbox one tuners to allow more streams.

Need a bit of help please. I've got TvHeadEnd up and running on a Raspberry Pi and i'm able to play streams from it via VLC Player. I installed the Antennas Docker in Unraid and the Docker Webpage says All Systems go and shows 14 Channels. I'm running my Plex Server on the same Unraid Machine. I went to Live TV & DVR Settings in Plex and added the IP and Port of Antennas. Plex finds the 14 Channels and starts generating the Guide. Unfortunately when I try to play a channel in Plex I get Playback Error Could not tune channel. Please check your tuner or antenna. Any ideas?

Antennas not coming up in browser using local device IP:5004

I've removed Digest option in Base and setup a seperate admin account to the * one. Running Ubuntu on Pi and installed Antennas, used nano to edit config.yml file to my local pi (has TVHat) IP address and port. any advice / help would be tremendously appreciated :)

Still not sure I understand the purpose if this app. I have a plex pass and a HDhomerun. I am able to get all the programming to display that is available via my HDhomerun for my area and I can record by clicking on the shows. What does this app do differently or what features is it bringing that the native plex functionality does not?

As you can read in the description, this container is an HDHomeRun emulator for Tvheadend users.

Literally, the first line of the post: "Support for Antennas docker container. HDHomeRun emulator for Plex/Jellyfin/Emby DVR to connect to Tvheadend."

For Tvheadend users, native integration with Plex does not work immediately as it does with HDHomeRun.
