I was updating my 4+1 disc array from 2TB to 3TB. During the process one of the array drives crashed. As Im not worried to much about the data as I have a complete backup apart from the time it will take to rebuild Unraid.

I have 2 new drives to replace the parity drive and the and the faulty array drive. I have tried all ways I can think of but I cannot get all 5 drives back on line at the same time.

can anyone point me in the right direction of looked on post and documentation but can't find anything that helps

You can do a new config, keep old assignments, assign new disk and parity if needed, start array to begin parity sync, data on the failed disk will be lost.

Thank you, that's what I thought I should do but just liked someone to confirm.
