Fifthy
Hi Guys. I recently started to move alot of data to and from my unraid array and noticed that the speed was rather slow, i then realized i'd never enabled the "reconstruct write" feature under "disk settings". Can i enable this feature while the array is running without any problems? I would prefer not to restart the server. Quote Link to comment
kizer
Yes. its often referred to as Turbo which there is a plugin for that will check how many drives are spinning and enable that mode and disable automatically. 1 Quote Link to comment

Thanks! Then i'll go ahead and enable it I just wanted to make sure it wouldn't cause any problems or screw with my system when enabling it "on the fly". Is that plugin usable if my drives are up and running 24/7? Edited May 15, 2021 by Fifthy Quote Link to comment
