Replace aging MB/FX-8370/DDR3ECC with something new

Recommended Posts

I think the bottle neck is the AMD 970/SB950 Chipset limited PCIe lanes.

(edit went back to 1 Parity drive to have 8TB more space)

I also notice I got the second Parity disk, the read and write speeds are slower.  If I went back to 1 Parity disk would that help the read/write speeds?

Replace aging MB/FX-8370/DDR3ECC with something new?  Case can take a ATX MB, so 2 x16 slots and 1 or more x8 slot on new MB.

Current slots:

PCIe 2.0 x16 (blue)[goes to x8 mode with both cards plugged in]  GTX1160Super(GPU Mining)

PCIe 2.0 x16 (x4 mode, black) Genuine LSI 6Gbps SAS HBA LSI 9211-8i(think HBA is x8 card)  Should swap the 2 cards?
2 x PCIe 2.0 x1
2 x PCI

ASUS WS C246 PRO ATX Server Motherboard LGA 1151 Intel C246 (there is AsRock Rack C246 WS 8 sata CPU & 4 sata other chip)

Intel Xeon E-2288G (with iGPU can you transcode Plex and use the Video out at the same time?)

64GB ECC DDR4 (16GB x 4)

Not sure why ASUS says AMD Crossfire when it is Intel?
