Im trying to make a new pc/server build to use unraid. i have a HPE H241 card, and was curious if this is compatible? Tools -> System devices -> it shows 01:00.0 Serial Attached SCSI controller: Hewlett-Packard Company Smart Array Gen9 Controllers (rev 01) So i dont order the cables and it wont work. I already tried to booting the HPE Smart Storage Administrator offline on a usb stick, but it wont find the controller. Edited May 18, 2021 by efcee Quote Link to comment
efcee Posted June 1, 2021 Author Share Posted June 1, 2021 For future reference the HPE H241 card with only external connections. I received the external cable to 4x sas, but it doensnt recognize any disks, nothing to do with unraid, same in linux or windows. I now ordered 2x HP LSI 9212-4i (1 spare) which has the "normal" sata connectors. this should work Quote Link to comment
