May 19, 20215 yr Greetings all, I am searching for a way to download/sync files from an AWS S3 bucket to an Unraid server. Does anyone know of any dockers which help, or how to add the AWS-CLI?
May 19, 20215 yr You can use syncovery in a docker. I use it with Backblaze B2 (legacy and now also in S3 format buckets) for my main cloud backups from Unraid and it also supports AWS S3 buckets and lots more.You do need to buy a syncovery for linux license to use it
January 3, 20242 yr You can also use the AWS CLI tool directly, the cleanest way to install it is via docker. Here's a GIST I put together showing a basic usage that pulls/installs the docker image then calls the CLI to list S3 buckets using the --profile option so you can create .config and .credentials files on the NAS then mount them into the container so it can access them. This works as a simply shell script so you can use it via the User Scripts plugin if you want, which is what I doing to sync files up to S3 for off-site backups
